Yexis works as part of an association of Venezuelan migrants who are responsible for accompanying fellow Venezuelans who arrive in Paraguay to seek refuge and access assistance. She is also the president of the fair “Que Chévere,” where they receive unemployed Venezuelans and include them in the fair by placing them in different squares on weekends, so they can earn some income and meet some of their needs.
