Shruti Karki is the Program Advisor for Nepal for the Girls First Fund in Lalitpur, Nepal. Karki holds a master’s degree in Development Studies from Kathmandu University, and previously worked for grassroots community organizations on issues related to drugs, HIV, sex workers, sexual and reproductive health and rights. In 2010, Voice of Women magazine selected her among the 10 Most Outstanding University Students. In 2011, she presented a paper on sexual abuse of street children at the Sixth Asia-Pacific Conference on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. She has collaborated with the International Committee of the Red Cross and the University of Minnesota.
