Sara Sasani is a Researcher and Artist at the Women’s Shelter Group in Tehran, Iran. Born in 1985 in Tehran, Sasani is graduated in the Research of Art and Sociology. For more than 17 years, she has collaborated with domestic and foreign news outlets and publications on photography and social documentaries. In addition to holding five solo exhibitions, she has participated in more than 50 group exhibitions and festivals in Iran and France, USA, Italy, Belgium, Georgia, Germany, England, India, South Korea, and Spain, among other places. She won first prize in three domestic festivals, and has worked with the Austrian cultural group X-Change.
