Rachel Biel is the Owner of Artizan Made in the state of Kentucky, USA. Biel has over 30 years of experience working with the handmade community, having run four brick and mortar shops and sold online for many years. She focuses on artists and fair trade groups, and her special love are products made from what others call “trash.” She spent 18 years in Brazil, four at St. Olaf College in Minnesota, followed by 20 years in Chicago. With experience in social service, Biel uses art to create economic development and bring people together, and builds web sites for artists.
