Otile Cleopas Edwin is the Community Chief Mobilizer for the Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative in Gulu, Uganda. A 25-year-old man, Edwin is a member of the Lango people in northern Uganda, an Alumnus of the Euphrates Peace practice, and a volunteer with local peace-keeping organizations. A passionate peace advocate born and raised in a war zone, he engages collectively all the talented individuals in his society to build a sustainable, harmonious and peaceful environment. He regularly holds seminars, conferences, community outreaches, and trainings to create a social metamorphosis that defies conflict and creates alternative conflict resolution options.
