Maxo is the Director of the Fondation de L’Avenir-FONA in Haiti, a role he has been serving since 2016. Prior to that, Maxo worked as a coordinator for a grassroots organization.
He was born in Arcahaie, Haiti in 1986 and is the first son of his parents’ six children. Both his father and mother are farmers who cannot read and write. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy and a diploma in Biblical Theological. He is now studying for a Master’s degree in agriculture sciences/entomology at Florida A&M University.
