Mark Devon Maitim is President of the Tagum SDG Youth Action Force in Tagum City, Philippines, which he founded to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals at the local level. Maitim proudly represents the Kagan tribe and embraces his indigenous heritage, and as the President of the IP Youth Club in his community, he empowers indigenous youth to understand their rights. A recognized Climate Reality Leader, he also works as a Mentor for the UNICEF Young People Action Team for the Asia-Pacific Region and as a member of the International Conference on Population and Development Asia Pacific Regional Youth Group.
