Kevin Amaro is a Community Engagement Specialist for Chinese American Service League Anti-Hate Action Center, where he facilitates education and programmatic strategy to build relationships with diverse, values-aligned community partners and service providers. A Chicago native, natural-born educator, and sometime professional drummer, Amaro graduated from DePaul University with both a BA in Public Relations and Advertising and a MA in Applied Diplomacy. He is the co-chair for the University Roundtable at Pilsen Neighbors, providing underrepresented students with resources to help with college recruitment and completion. Amaro is the founder of VowChats, a free AI translation service for nonprofits.
