Latinos en Lake Worth Beach, Foro Penal
Karymn is from the state of Tachira in Venezuela but has been residing in the United States since 2000. She has organized and coordinated various activities, raising her voice against human rights violations in Venezuela. From the state of Florida, she coordinated the global campaign “Justice Must Be Served” as part of the citizen platform “Venezuela Somos Todos” (VST), collecting 103,000 signatures that were submitted to the International Criminal Court, denouncing the systematic crimes against humanity committed by the Venezuelan government. She is also an active advocate for the organization “Foro Penal” and the coordinator of the “Palm Beaches” chapter, which supports different campaigns for the freedom of political prisoners in Venezuela. She has collaborated in informational events for the Latinx community, in enrolling volunteers for the electoral campaign of the first Latinx commissioner in the city of Lake Worth Beach, and in collecting toys for the children of political prisoners in Venezuela.
