Jonathan Johnson is the Assistant Minister at Maypole Avenue Church of Christ. Jonathan is a native Chicagoan who grew up in the East Garfield Park area with his three older sisters. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at East West University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from New Life Bible College in Cleveland, Tennessee. For the past eight years, Jonathan has worked in the youth advocacy field where he provides mentorship and support for struggling youth, helping them with their particular needs. Jonathan has an intense passion for giving back and rebuilding communities on the West side of Chicago.
