Jayonna is a youth advocate born and raised on the west side of Chicago who is partnered with the Goldin Institute as a 2023 Public Ally. She attended Michigan State University with a major in Human Biology and Child Development. Her career working with youth started in 2021 with the organization, ‘Hope for Kids’ where she made a safe haven for young children by providing games, tutoring, a wide variety of field trips, and many other educational opportunities. In addition, she works with seniors as a home healthcare worker. Jayonna is always volunteering to serve her community by feeding the homeless, giving away clothing, and providing school supplies to children in need. Jayonna hopes to build a career of working with children to better their lives.
