Dr. Jahan Zaib Ahmed is serving as the Director General of the Animal Welfare and Rescue Department at the Veterinary Doctors Alliance (VDA) Pakistan and beyond this he worked as a Peer Educator: For Gender-Sensitive civic and voter education at the Chanan Development Association in Jamshoro, Pakistan. He also volunteers to provide sessions in his community on gender-sensitive civic and voter education. Ahmed has completed a Bachelor’s degree toward a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Sindh Agriculture University in Tandojam, Pakistan, and is pursuing a Master’s degree in the same field. He works to educate people through awareness, advocacy, and educational sessions. Ahmed has also taken on various volunteer roles in his community and in nearby schools and colleges, where he educates children and adults about their basic rights in community development and promotes awareness of sensitive touches, One Health, Animal Rights. Energetic, self-motivated, and professionally trained, Ahmed is particularly proud of his extensive experience.
