Irynn Ashaki Williams McClain is Deputy Director at A Just Harvest, a non-profit food pantry. McClain earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Florida A&M University and worked in Florida before moving to Chicago in 2001. As a teaching artist, McClain developed youth arts programs for several Chicago Public Schools and an after-school program in theater, music, and dance. Since that time, she has advocated for youth programs in arts activism and leadership development as well as increasing access to technology. A professional dancer and doula, McClain also teaches about the healing properties of the arts, music, and movement.
