Huma Nasir is an International Lawyer and a Youth Advisory Board member at the United Nations – Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights as well as a Mentor at MCW Global based in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Nasir’s practice and research interests are centered around International Human Rights Law, Gender Rights, Conflict Resolution and Climate Justice. With a strong interdisciplinary research focus on the intersection of law, gender and peacebuilding, through the lens of UNSCR 1325, she is passionate about strengthening the gender-inclusive peace process and hopes to advance feminist peace in international peace and security efforts.
