Gayane Khachatryan is the Founder and Director of the Talin Women’s Resource Center Development Foundation in Talin, Armenia, empowering women and local communities to become economically secure, independent, flourishing, just, sustainable, and culturally proud. Khachatryan is an Armenian native whose work as a translator opened her eyes to a broader comprehension of her home country. Certain projects brought her to villages where she saw firsthand the poverty, poor treatment of women, and the sense of hopelessness that pervades daily life. So, she decided to do something about these issues that she is so passionate about, and founded the organization in Talin.
