Frank Latin
Senior Advisor, Multimedia Storytelling
After graduating from the Chicago Peace Fellows program in 2019, Frank Latin joined the Goldin Institute team as a Senior Advisor for Multimedia Storytelling. Prior to his Peace Fellows experience, Frank founded the Westside Media Project and Storyline Studios where he continues to serve as Executive Director. He also formerly published Nitty Gritty News, a community newspaper highlighting marginalized communities across Chicago.
Latin is a graduate of Roosevelt University where he obtained both his Bachelors and Masters degree in economics. Frank has worked on labor related issues at the State and Federal level agencies, previously serving as an Immigration Program Analyst at the Department of Labor adn a Research Supervisor for the Illinois Department of Employment Security. In addition to the Chicago Peace Fellows program, Frank is also a 2020 Alumni of the Leadership in Democracy program hosted by the McCormick Foundation.
