Elaine Marthel founded Project Impact 180, where she empowers youths to overcome adversity and realize their potential. A proud native of Chicago’s vibrant West Side, Marthel graduated from Lane Tech High School and Roosevelt University, and now has over 25 years of experience in youth advocacy as well as 20 years of experience in financial services. Her commitment to building a brighter future as a catalyst for positive change is also informed by her personal journey losing her father to gun violence at age five, and as a teen mother. Marthel defines her mission as fostering peace and opportunity.
