Anthony Jones is the Project Manager for the You Matter program at the Darren Easterling Center. An educator, criminal justice reform advocate, and paralegal today, Jones was sentenced to life without parole at 20. He transformed his life in prison, pursuing higher education and spiritual resurrection, embraced a new name, Anaviel Ben Rakemeyahu, and became a respected leader. He earned a paralegal certification, two college degrees, and a state certificate as a peer health educator and mentor. Jones helped many incarcerated citizens file successful petitions, including his own, and was released July 28, 2021 after almost 30 years incarcerated.
